Hi, my name is Jaici Shiemke and I created Studio Style to be educational and inspirational to aspiring artists.

When I was in high school, I never had access to art classes. I had always been an artist, but everything I knew (which wasn't much) was self-taught. I mostly drew from photos. It was so self explanatory; all I needed was a pencil and paper. I had tried other media, but I had no idea where to start, and it never turned out right. It wasn't until I went to college, that I learned how to work in different media, and became more confident in what I was making. This blog is going to be what my younger self never had; for all the other artists out there.
