Designing & Mailing Postcards

Postcards can be a great way to show your work to other people when mailed, or they can act as a mini portfolio you can hand out.

Here, I will be referring to postcards mailed in the US by USPS. All postcards can be mailed with a forever stamp, but if you meet their size requirements, you can mail them with postcard stamps at a cheaper price.

Postcard Size Requirements

When designing postcards, be sure to follow these guidelines. If you are making a postcard larger than 6 x 4.25", just push the address and barcode areas into the lower right corner.
